ABOUT THE KIDS TIE-DYE WORKSHOP:
Welcome to our 60-minute Kids Tie-Dye workshop! Kids ages 6-12 will transform plain white t-shirts into vibrant masterpieces in this hands-on, creative workshop. Participants will learn basic tie-dye techniques, colour theory, and pattern creation while making their very own custom tie-dye shirt..
What's Included:
- White cotton t-shirt
- Professional-grade fabric dyes in various colours
- All necessary supplies (rubber bands, gloves, protective coverings)
- Step-by-step instruction from experienced craft teachers
- Take-home care instructions
- Protective apron during the workshop
Workshop Flow:
- Welcome and safety instructions (10 mins)
- Demonstration of tie-dye techniques (15 mins)
- Pattern planning and shirt preparation (20 mins)
- Dyeing process (30 mins)
- Wrapping and take-home instructions (15 mins)
Important Notes:
- Shirts need 24 hours to set before rinsing
- Detailed care instructions will be provided
- Wear clothes that can get messy
- All materials are non-toxic and safe for children
WHAT PARENTS SHOULD KNOW:
- All ingredients are safe and washable
- Children should wear clothes that can get messy
- Every child takes home their creation
- Perfect for ages 6-12
- Parents are welcomed to stay on-site to grab a drink and food during the workshop, we’ll be facilitating in a corner of the brewery
- Children will be supervised at all times.
- It's recommended that kids use the washroom before the workshop
- Each Slime Workshop Session will last 1 hour long
- Two sessions: 11am-12pm & 12pm-1pm
